Welcome
My name is Kristy Rodecker and I'd like to thank you for taking the time to visit my web site.
I created this page to address a few key items that not only are requested often but that I also feel are important for readers to know. Find Out More About:
Experience and CredentialsLike many women I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, entrepreneur, and professional.Speaking professionally I am a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Coder, Hospital (CPC-H), and hold an associate's degree as a Medical Assistant. I am also the founder of the AAPC local Norwalk chapter and currently preside over it as the President. I have worked in the medical administrative field for the past ten years. My experience includes working in both medical billing and medical coding positions. Some of the positions I've held include working in the front office in a multi-physician Neurologist office, working in a multi-specialist billing office, and coding ER records from home. I have also taught medical coding at a local college for some time. Eventually I chose to leave that position though in order to provide a more inclusive type of education for aspiring medical coders.
PurposeI began creating this web-site with a two fold purpose:
1) To provide accurate and quality information to individuals pursuing a medical billing or coding career
The amount of inaccurate information on the internet that is used to scam individuals, specifically regarding medical coding and work from home positions, is something that has angered me quite a bit, particularly since they prey upon single or stay at home mothers. Although work from home positions do exist they are not as easily obtained as many would like to claim. These positions require proper education, experience, and hard work. Helping individuals to gain the right type of education, become experienced, and reach their work from home goal (or any other goal) is my first priority. There any many types of education that can be obtained, but finding the proper one can be more difficult. This is why I also chose to offer an all inclusive course built specifically around preparing individuals for the CPC exam . Since searching the internet one can easily overwhelm individuals with options and many may find it difficult to distinguish between them I also arms individuals with information on how to choose the correct educator if they choose to seek education elsewhere.

It's nice to have it as a fall back plan, but it's the CPC certification that has made the biggest difference in my personal career." RSS information
